Teams
from the East of Fife Pool League were originally part
of Kirkcaldy & District Pool League, which was founded in the mid
1970's. Kirkcaldy & District Pool League, at that time, had 3
divisions. Due to the increase in popularity of the game of 8-ball
pool during the late 1980's and the early part of the 1990's the
decision was made to break away from the Kirkcaldy & District League.
Since the founding of
the East of Fife Pool League in 1992, teams from all over the
catchment area have contested the league. The catchment area being
pubs & clubs in, Glenrothes, Leslie, Thornton, Kinglassie, Markinch,
Milton of Balgonie & Coaltown of Balgonie.

This season will see the
league teams playing each other twice throughout the season on a home
